Eye Screening Camp and Cataract Surgery

Location: SEIT Nepal Office, Hanspur – 05, Dhanusa

Goals:

  • To provide the Eye screening and Cataract (2nd most common cause of Blindness in Nepal) surgery facility to the local general populations of the municipality and surrounding villages
  • To provide consultation for other eye related disease

Target Population:

Poor old aged population who are otherwise unable to get the Cataract surgery done by their own.

  • Total number of patient registered: 183
  • Total number of patient screened: 165
  • Total no of patients referred for cataract surgery: 75
  • Total number of patients undergone surgery on 21st march 2018: 58
  • Total number of patients undergone surgery on 22st march 2018: 3
  • Total number of patients provided with spectacles: 21
  • A huge discount on cataract surgery
